Portland Community Service Event with Oregon Humane Society

Sunday, March 3, 2019 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Alumni, friends and family are invited to join the Portland UCF Alumni Club for an animal socialization event at the Oregon Humane Society! We'll give back to our local community with fellow Knights, while helping the society's dogs and cats stretch their legs and enjoy some much-needed TLC.

We have room for 8 volunteers, so you must register to participate in this event. Once the maximum number of volunteers is reached, registration will close.

On the day of the event, meet your UCF Alumni Club Chair, Nanette Fernandez, at 1:15 p.m. to check in. There will be a quick orientation with a staff member and then we will get to play with the animals!

Your help will provide these furry friends with the attention and the social skills they need to help find loving homes, so don't miss this chance to make a difference - register now!

Oregon Humane Society Rules: Participants must be 12 years of age or older. All volunteers must be able to comprehend and follow lengthy instructions, adhere to shelter policies, procedures and protocol, and are able to think and act quickly to ensure volunteer, animal and public safety.
