The UCF M.A. program in English/Technical is an online program that provides students with preparation for careers as technical communicators working for a diverse range of corporations and nonprofit organizations. Graduates of the program are extremely successful finding jobs in the field and have been hired by major corporations including Intel, Amazon, Google, Lockheed Martin, Harris Corporation, Siemens Corporation, and Walt Disney World Company. In addition to core courses, the program offers opportunities for specialized study in many areas including:
- Writing and Designing Online Help Systems
- Proposal Writing
- Project Management
- International Technical Communication
This hour-long session will provide an overview of the program, the course offerings, and the application process. The speakers will include faculty and alumni. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about the program and the many opportunities in the field of technical communication.
