Dr. Khalil is a published expert on public health in the developing world - particularly in Egypt, the Middle East and India. Khalil is a trained physician, an experienced researcher and author. She has done extensive work on public health issues, particularly women's healthcare, and government decision-making in the healthcare sphere.

In this presentation, Dr. Khalil will provide an overview of the healthcare sector and discuss a study, "Are Medical Practices in Deliveries Evidence-Based? Aa multidisciplinary study from Egypt." Khalil is a graduate of Smith College, Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
