Staged Reading: Scenes from Station Eleven

Sunday, April 7, 2019 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In Station Eleven, a novel by Emily St. John Mandel, the author explores mankind’s need to continue the arts even in the most dire times of civilization. At this event, students, faculty and alumni from Theatre UCF will present pieces, scenes and monologues from Shakespeare to modern plays that seek to answer the question of why theatre, art and music must always persist, stand firm and persevere.

Presented by the NEA Big Read at UCF.
