China Humanitarian Crisis Panel

Thursday, April 11, 2019 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

You’re invited to Amnesty International at UCF’s biggest event of the year! Join us as we shed light on one of the largest scale persecution and detention operations by the Chinese government against the Uyghur minority. It’s one of the least talked about crises of our time.

A special guest speaker is flying in from Washington D.C. to give firsthand accounts of his family’s persecution to the UCF community. He’s an activist and founder of an organization to support the rights of the Uyghur minority in China. An M.A. candidate with UCF’s Political Science Department, who did extensive research on the topic, will join the panel to discuss policy implications.

Pizza will be provided at the event
