Meet A World Changing Social Entrepreneur

Wednesday, August 26, 2015 noon to 1 p.m.
Have you ever wanted to impact the world through business? If you said yes then come out and learn how to start a social venture which can leave a lasting impact in communities across the world.

This event will be hosted by Julie Colombino, Founder and CEO of REBUILD globally which focuses on social entrepreneurship in order to provide dignified, living wage employment in Haiti. They now proudly employ dozens of survivors of the 2010 Haiti earthquake to make beautiful, high-quality recycled tire sandals in Haiti.

Through their endeavors, children are reunited with their families, mothers are able to provide safe housing and education for themselves and their children and dignity is restored in the community in which they work. They sell sandals locally and wholesale internationally and 100% of proceeds supports their programs and endeavors to restore pride and unify families.
