Pace Chipotle Fundraiser

Monday, April 29, 2019 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

FInals, are hard enough. Take a break from the kitchen and do good with burritos. Monday April 29th, Pace Center will be hosting a fundraiser at Chiptole with proceeds going back to the Center.

The Pace Center is an alternative education and advocacy center for girls 11-17 who have experienced trauma. The school provides similar academic curriculum to that of a public school and also group and individual counseling every week.

While personal experiences and outside influences have intervened to make life seem dificult, Pace promotes and enables these young women to complete their education, build self-esteem, and develop personal, social and family relationship skills. Building on this foundation, the students become productive citizens through responsible decision making.

The third party event will be located at Chipotle on University Boulevard from 5-9 and 33% of the proceeds will go back to the Pace Center. All you have to do is say you are there for the Pace Fundraiser or show a flyer to make it count! Earlier this semester, UCF's Green Dot chose Pace as their charity of choice and all of the proceeds made from the Vagina Monologues went back to Pace.

We are so thankful for the partnership UCF and Pace have already developed and hope to keep it going!
