Downtown Faculty Teaching Orientation

Wednesday, August 21, 2019 9 a.m. to noon

All UCF Downtown classrooms will be active learning classrooms (ALCs)—flexible, student-centered spaces that facilitate the use of active learning strategies. Faculty on the downtown campus may recognize the opportunities and challenges associated with teaching in ALCs. This intensive morning session will give faculty a brief introduction to technology in the spaces (e.g., collaborative platforms like Intel Unite). We'll then focus on pedagogies, as well as tips for handling challenges and getting started on the first day.

This event will be hosted from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., August 21st, at UCF Downtown in room DPAC 252.
