Comedy Showcase: MP3 Experiment

Wednesday, September 30, 2015 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
MP3 Experiment is participatory public event created by Improv Everywhere. A new tradition here at UCF!
Here's how it works: we put an original mp3 file online (usually 45 minutes long) that people add to their mobile devices. Participants then synchronize their watches, head out to the same public location, and blend in with others. At the predetermined time, everyone presses play. Hilarity ensues as partcipiants carry out ridiculous, coordinated instructions delivered to their headphones via narrator "Steve" and everyone else tries to figure out what is happening. For more information please email cabcomedy@ucf.edu or download the CAB app on Google Play or App Store (UCF_CAB or UCF CAB)

Are you ready for a knight of hilarious fun? Here's what you need to prepare for the event:

Bring: A bag (purse, backpack, messenger bag, shopping bag, etc.) that has the following items inside:
  • a camera with a flash (An actual camera with an actual flash works better than a smart phone)
  • a flash light
  • Something that lights up that is not a camera or a flash light (should be able to fit in your backpack) (no laser pointers/fireworks/fire please)
  • a glow stick (or glow ring or similar glow item)
  • a mask (make your own if you don’t have one)
