The Voice” finalist Sisaundra Lewis and Robert Harris, who leads one of
Central Florida’s premier Jazz/ R&B groups, will headline this year’s Jazz
on a Green at the College of Medicine November 14. The outdoor concert on the
college’s Tavistock Green supports scholarships for M.D. students and
youngsters at the Lake Nona YMCA. The presenting sponsor for the event is CFE Federal Credit Union. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are
$15 each in advance and $20 at the door. Bring a blanket, a picnic basket and a

NBC’s “The Voice.” Born in Haines City, she started her career with Grammy and
Oscar Award winner Peabo Bryson, who invited her to tour the world with him as
a backing vocalist and his new duet partner. Her partnership with Bryson led to
a worldwide tour with Grammy and Oscar winner Celine Dion, where Lewis worked
as a backing vocalist, vocal director and choreographer. Lewis headlined last
year’s Jazz on a Green concert, which drew more than 1,000 people.
Harris, a guitarist, and his Central Florida-based group perform regularly
at clubs and several national jazz festivals and concerts. He has opened for or
performed at the same festivals as multiple national artists including Mindi
Abair, Richard Elliot, Marion Meadows, The Rippingtons and Kenny G. Harris has
produced three successful smooth jazz CDS which have produced four national
radio hits.
