Our Universe: What Do We Know and How Do We Know It? (Hint: You Can See a Lot By Looking!)

In this talk, we will review how we came to understand our physical universe. Believe it or not, you can see a lot by just looking.

We will discuss the science discovered and the tools used to help us get to our current state of understanding, and things where understanding eludes us. This physical science research will be presented at a level with the non-scientist in mind.
