Developing Your Statement of Purpose

Thursday, January 30, 2020 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Have you ever wondered what graduate schools look for in a statement of purpose? Come to this Academic Advancement Programs (AAP) session and learn how to shape your statement of purpose into a competitive statement.

Graduate school application committees are usually looking for specific features in a statement of purpose that stand out. This workshop is in our “Applying” stage, which means you’ll learn how to bring your statement of purpose to the next level while you are applying to graduate school programs.

This workshop will be presented by Dr. Don Brunson from Vanderbilt University.
