Remembrance Wreath Cleanup at Arlington

Saturday, January 11, 2020 7:45 a.m. to noon

Calling all D.C. Knights!

Join fellow UCF alumni and friends from the area as we retrieve the Remembrance Wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery. We will be collecting the wreaths that were laid in December for the holidays and helping to dispose of them to keep the sites clean.

It is suggested that you bring a stick, pole, rope, rake or something equivalent to support carrying multiple wreaths per trip. Please dress for the weather and wear gloves and waterproof footwear.

We'll meet at the McClellan Arch Gate at Arlington National Cemetery located just off Eisenhower Drive, between Section 33 and 12, on McClellan Drive. Look for a UCF flag near the McClellan Arch Gate (to the left of the main entrance).

We hope you'll join us for a rewarding morning of honoring our heroes!

Be sure to follow us on our official Washington D.C. UCF Alumni Chapter Facebook group for any event updates!
