Dr. Marc Williams is widely regarded as a “Marketing Guru”, Sports Marketing Pioneer and Pop Culture Expert. He worked for three of the largest sports brands in the world: Champs Sports, Footaction and Reebok. Dr. Williams is the former Global Vice President and Brand Director for athletic retailer Champs Sports and helped Champs Sports become a $1 billion dollar brand. Dr. Williams led a team that created College Football’s Champs Sports Bowl that featured teams in the ACC and the Big East that had a bowl game payout of $4.25 million. Williams also negotiated the Champs Sports brand to be featured in 105 music videos, and 85 feature films—which includes Will Farrell’s “Kicking and Screaming”, Chris Rock’s “Head of State and Oscar winning film “Sideways.”Dr. Williams was instrumental in negotiating sports retail’s first global campaign for the hip hop industry by signing a deal with Ruff Ryder Records and Grammy award winning artist Eve. Dr. Williams was also a key member to negotiate the monumental Reebok deal with Hip Hop icons, Jay Z and 50 Cent.
