SPRING 2020 CPNM Research Seminar Series
Dr. Qian Hu will present her paper, co-authored with Dr. Jungwon Yeo and Dr. Naim Kapucu, entitled “Interorganizational Coordination under Stress: Evidence from Emergency Management Network Research.” In this paper, they synthesize existing literature on emergency management networks, identify research gaps, and provide practical recommendations for emergency management practice.
Following the discussion on her collaborative research, Dr. Hu will introduce a discussion on a new collaborative governance initiative that is beginning. Faculty members are invited to engage in a discussion on collaborative governance, networks, and cross-sector partnerships, as well as any other relevant research topics that may arise and further inform the project.
A few possible topics of discussion to help shape the conversation:
- Current research projects and grant applications,
- Brainstorm new ideas or identify previously used methods/frameworks
- Consider strategies that have been used to strengthen collaboration capacity within ourselves and with outside stakeholders.
