Love your smart phone, driving a car, watching TV, online shopping, electricity, clean water, to name a few? If so, thank an engineer! Join the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science as we celebrate Engineers Week – Monday, Feb. 17 to Friday Feb. 21 – with a variety of free events on UCF's main campus to showcase that just about every modern convenience is possible because of engineers.
Each morning, grab some "Breakfast by the Bridge" starting at 8 a.m. between Pegasus Drive and the Engineering II building on UCF's main campus.
Don't miss the E-Week flagship event, the Engineers Fair on campus at the Harris Engineering Center, Wed. Feb. 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with many interactive games and activities, including water bottle rockets, spaghetti structures, giant Jenga, water filtration challenge, downhill Derby, a hydraulic arm workshop, and much more.
You don't have to be an engineer to participate. Everyone is welcome to join the fun. For all E-week events, times and locations, click the UCF Engineers Week 2020 flyer here.
