Schedule:

Some archaeological discoveries tell us shocking stories about the past. Sometime during the late pre-Hispanic period (~AD 1500), over 100 individuals were killed at the southern end of the monumental community of Kuelap. Using a forensic-like approach, this presentation investigates the evidence for cause of death, victim identity and the possible motivation behind this mass death that signaled the end of Kuelap.
