The condition of bones tell trained anthropologists multiple stories. Dr. Dawnie Wolfe Steadman, a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, will share some of these stories, including how bones are used in forensic cases; reconstructing human rights atrocities, and historical warfare. She'll also talk about her new work exploring the impact drugs have on the body at death.
