We know that many students across UCF have big ideas for addressing important problems. UCF’s Blackstone LaunchPad wants to celebrate and showcase creative thinking from undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines with its new $2500 Big Idea Competition sponsored by Highkey. We encourageALL UCF students across ALL disciplines to engage their creative and critical thinking skills to propose BIG IDEAS that could ignite change and make things better. Participants must describe a problem, present a solution, and provide credible evidence that allows others to judge your idea's potential value. BIG IDEAS are clear, compelling, and credible. They tell a memorable and believable story that engages others interests and imagination. This is how entrepreneurial leaders ignite change with the power of their ideas!
Timeline:
- Monday 11/16 - Entries due (11:59 p.m.)
- Friday 11/20 - 1st round judging completed (noon), finalists announced (3 p.m.)
- Tuesday 11/24 - Final judging completed, award announced
