Lifelong Learning Lectures: “Saving Lives with Science: The Brevard Strangulation Prevention Project"

The UCF Cocoa campus is presenting a new faculty lecture series, Lifelong Learning Lectures. This series will showcase the research done by faculty on the UCF Cocoa and Palm Bay campuses.

The first lecture will be presented by Dr. Adam Pritchard, Sociology, on Monday, April 4, 2016, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. “Saving Lives with Science: The Brevard Strangulation Prevention Project,” is based on research done by Dr. Pritchard and his colleagues, in partnership with the Brevard County Strangulation Prevention Workgroup, to try to save lives in this community and advance national knowledge on how to best address these high-risk domestic violence incidents.
