Wednesday, February 24, 2016 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Robot Wars: Teaching Programming Through Robotics Competitions

Once restricted to the speculation of science fiction movies, robots are now a very real part of our world. Through robotics classes and national competitions, students learn programming and engineering skills by building their own robots. Join us for a presentation from local teachers who are using robotics in their classrooms and learn how robotics competitions can enrich your students’ education.

No pre-registration is necessary. Simply show up, learn, and have fun.

Audience level: K-12
Presenter: Various teachers from the Orlando area
Hosted by: The UCF College of Education and Human Performance School of Teaching, Learning, and Leadership
