Special Blood Drive

Thursday, March 3, 2016 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

As part of the UCF Art Gallery reception of Do It! on March 3rd, a student-hosted blood drive will be at the Visual Arts Building from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. DO IT is a group exhibition of works produced by students and faculty according to instructional procedures written by some of the greatest figures in contemporary art. The opening reception begins at 5 p.m. on March 3rd.

The students hosting this blood drive will be taking part in a performance art piece on the topic of blood from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. near the Big Red Bus. The performance piece is based the work of artist Lygia Pape. Student participants are Blanche Letakis, Will Harden, Caesar Ricci, and Conor Deering. Performance and blood drive coordinated by Laura Castro.

Blood drives are one of the many ways our Knight family demonstrates its giving spirit. Come join us on the Big Red Bus!
