MLK Day of Service - Mask Making

Saturday, January 16, 2021 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Saturday, January 16th, 2021, Volunteer UCF will be hosting its annual MLK Day of Service. Due to COVID-19, the circumstances of this event will look a lot different this year. We will be following CDC guidelines and can only host a limited number of volunteers.

---------------------------------------------------------

Please RSVP if you are interested in volunteering at the Mask Making Event at the Key West Ballroom inside the Student Union.

As volunteers, we will be making masks to donate to local organizations. (Please keep in mind volunteers will not be allowed to take home any mask they made.) Mask making experience is not necessary but if you know how to use a sewing machine, please let me know by email: vucfcivic@ucf.edu

Schedule:

10:45 a.m.: Meet at the KeyWest Ballroom for sign-in

11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Volunteer

---------------------------------------------------------

When: Saturday, January 16, 2021

Attire: Please wear a face mask, closed-toed shoes and clothing that you feel comfortable to wear.

---------------------------------------------------------

Since volunteer space is limited, please only RSVP if you can 100% attend the event. If you RSVP for this event but can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP so others can volunteer.

After you RSVP, you will receive a link via email that will invite you to join a GroupMe for this event.

Any additional questions or concerns please contact Puja Shanbhag at vucfcivic@ucf.edu
