Remembering Those We Lost: A Pulse and BLM Memorial

Join us Feb. 25 at 3:30 p.m. for a live airstream event where we will unveil artistic reflections of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Students from the M.D. program’s LGBTQ+ and SNMA organizations are hosting the event. They will unveil a Black Lives Matter mural and a quilt honoring the victims of Orlando’s Pulse shooting that will be displayed permanently in the Medical Education Building.

Speakers will include Nikole Parker, Director of Stakeholder and Community Relations for the OnePulse Foundation, and Dr. Tracy MacIntosh, the incoming College of Medicine Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
