Creative Village UCF Downtown Phase II - Student Presentation
An Academic Exploration featuring the Orlando Center for Architecture and Design
Thursday, March 11, 2021 | 6-8 p.m. | Zoom

UCF Downtown Phase II – Students' exploration of UCF's next development phase in Orlando's urban core. The Creative Village development has garnered people's attention nationally, focusing on developing a true "live, work, learn and play" urban innovation district. UCF Architecture students have developed an engaging mix-use 800K sqft structure focusing on further developing the higher education component while providing a Paramore Community's front door to the new district.

Students were encouraged to study the history and survey the surrounding communities. They attempted to both architecturally and programmatically bridge the gap of the neighboring areas. Each project found its own unique way to use the students and innovation of Creative Village as the connecting fiber between the downtown business district and the Parramore community.

Join us as vested members of the community give feedback to the UCF Architecture students.
