Pegasus String Quartet Concert

Thursday, October 21, 2021 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Pegasus String Quartet presents a concert.

UCF’s graduate string quartet program launched in the fall of 2019. The string quartet graduate assistantship is a two-year program where students will earn their M.A. Music degree. The curriculum emphasizes intensive work with world-class faculty through lessons and coachings while offering an array of performance opportunities in chamber music concerts and large ensembles including the Orlando Philharmonic.

String quartet students will perform as a member of the Pegasus String Quartet and perform locally, regionally and nationally throughout the year. The quartet program is led by world-renowned violinist Ayako Yonetani, a professor at UCF and a member of Japan’s premier chamber ensemble, Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra.

Free admission, no ticket required.
