Hello Volunteers!
Tuesday Knight Food Share is an event from 5:00-6:30 p.m. (or 7 ish), in which UCF students lead a feeding with Straight Street Orlando! This will be a great opportunity to interact with our homeless friends and help feed the hungry.
5:00 p.m.: Meet at the Christian Service Center
5:15 - 6:30 p.m.: Food Share event
Location of the event: 808 W Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32805
Service Hours: 2 volunteer hours (plus extra hours if you bring donations)
About donations, we are asking that volunteers who are financially capable to please provide any food that is easy to serve the crowd such as sandwiches, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, snacks, etc. as well as bottled water, soda cans, personal hygiene products, toiletries, blankets, clothes (especially socks and jackets). You will receive extra 1 to 2 hours depends on how many you bring.
BEFORE ATTENDING THE EVENT, PLEASE COMPLETE THE COVID-19 SELF-CHECKER ON THE UCF APP AND FILL OUT THIS ONLINE FORM: Covenant Not to Sue and Agreement to Hold Harmless.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Volunteers wearing a mask is optional.
- Volunteer UCF will not be facilitating carpooling. If you need a ride to the facility, please find your own method of transportation.
- Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate clothes.
If you have RSVPed for this event but are no longer able to attend, please cancel your RSVP so others can volunteer.
