September's presentation features Voter Rights & Voter Suppression: Florida's Century of Struggle, 1920-2020 as the first phase of a three-part series in the Bending Towards Justice Digital Exhibit. A multi-level interactive exhibition, Bending Toward Justice presents documents, maps, photographs, oral histories, and secondary sources to engage the public and scholars in dialogs on inequality in Florida and the nation.

You are invited to also explore the initial exhibit which focuses on the Ocoee Massacre as a local case study of the national effort to suppress the vote. It highlights the violence experienced by those who defied intimidation and disfranchisement, yet it illustrates the hope and perseverance found in community history.
