Join Us for 'Voices of Diversity'
Student Accessibility Services at UCF presents “Voices of Diversity,” as part of Diversity Week, on Wednesday, October 20 from 12:45–2:15 p.m. World-renowned human rights lawyer, Haben Girma, will join us virtually to address this year’s theme of “changing the narrative.” Haben is a disabled woman of color and a child of immigrant parents living in an often unwelcoming environment. Her experiences allow her to speak to how she has been able to foster a climate of respect and inclusion throughout her life, through activism and resilience.
