Parramore Speaks: Empower the Black Investor

Tuesday, October 19, 2021 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

We believe many Black investors may face financial planning challenges throughout their lives, including unique labor, community, and investing obstacles stemming from the historical wealth gap. In this presentation, we take a deeper dive into many of these potential challenges, explore potential solutions, and identify ways that the Black investor can empower themselves financially.

Featuring Ms. Kimberly Stewart, Financial Advisor KRS Wealth Management. Ms. Stewart has 28 years of experience as a financial advisor, and/or experience as a registered representative. Also known as “Orlando’s Money Lady”, Ms. Stewart owns and operates her own firm with an office in the retail space of Amelia Court. Having her business location in the historic Parramore area is no coincidence. Ms. Stewart is very intentional about sharing her vast financial knowledge with members of the African American community. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and has served on the UNCF Advisory Council, the Negro Spiritual Scholarship Foundation Board, and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Board. She believes that "too whom much is given, much is required."
