Up To The Minute in Clinical Care

Monday, October 18, 2021 noon to 2 p.m.

The College of Health Professions and Sciences welcomes occupational therapist Michael Braun from Brooks Rehabilitation as he discusses strategies for collaboration between speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and occupational therapists (OTs) in providing multidisciplinary intervention for individuals who require augmentative and alternative communication.

Using live beam demonstrations of assistive technology equipment using UCF’s cutting-edge Hologram Technology (in partnership with Brooks Rehab), the audience will be provided with case study examples of how SLPs and OTs may work together to improve outcomes for patients.
