Join the Multicultural Student Center as we wrap up our month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ history. We present to you a night full of stars, glamour, and lots of voguing the house down! Amateur Vogue Night is an event that not only highlights ballroom culture but is also a celebration of the queer BIPOC voices that fought for their place in history.
In this event, students and community members have a chance to win trophies in an astrology themed category! Lip-sync and dance your heart out decked out in your star sign, or be a celestial being on the dancefloor. After, we will be showcasing the Florida ballroom scene with host, Yummy Prodigy and two ballroom houses: House of West and House of Ninja. To end the night, learn some history from actual house mother and father Michael B. Sails and Tabu.
