Rosen College students, join us for a general session that gives you the opportunity to learn from and network with experts in the hospitality, event and entertainment industries. Each session will be topic specific and will consist of a single speaker or panel. Session topics include hospitality and tourism, event management, theme park management, wines and spirits, industry consulting and more!

February 16, 2022: Restaurant Management

Guest speaker: Jeff Carcara, CEO, Sixty Vines 

Jeff Carcara is the current CEO of Sixty Vines which has five restaurants in Plano, Dallas and Houston, Texas, Nashville and Winter Park, FL., with 3 more locations planned for 2022 and beyond. Jeff also, has a second concept, Mexican Sugar which has two locations with one on the way in 2022. All three Mexican Sugar's are in Dallas.

Carcara started his career with Hillstone Restaurants and earned his way to executive positions throughout the industry through his focused vision and exceptional work ethic. His impact is most recognized through his ability to lead teams and restaurants by growing and developing people, differentiating food and beverage experiences and creating multi-unit growth while amplifying brand equity.

Carcara’s restaurant leadership experience encompasses positions of increased responsibility and significant tenure with some of the restaurant industry’s most admirable companies, including Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Barteca Restaurant Group, Darden Restaurants, Inc., and Hillstone Restaurant Group.

Jeff earned his BS in Hospitality Management from UCF in 1992.

P.R.E.P Connect meets on alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays. All sessions are from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
