Fulbright Program General Information Session

Thursday, April 5, 2012 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Are you interested in conducting research or in graduate study in a foreign country? Have you ever wanted to teach English abroad? If you answer “yes” to either of these questions, you should consider applying for the Fulbright Program for U.S Students. Fulbright offers two awards: Full Grants for study or research at an overseas institution over an academic year and Teaching Assistantships, which are offered at a variety of language competencies and educational levels determined by the needs of the host countries. The Fulbright Program operates in over 135 countries and is available to students of all disciplines.

The process of applying to Fulbright is extremely rewarding, but can be a challenge to navigate. The Office of Prestigious Awards aids students in preparing application materials, including Personal Statements and Statements of Grant Purpose. To guide you through the first steps toward an application, workshops on the Fulbright Program Application Process will be offered. The on-campus deadline for the 2013-2014 program will be in mid-September. Please feel free to contact the Office of Prestigious Awards if you are interested in learning more about this award program. Read More
