Dr. Jagdish Kulkarni, M.D., physician and entrepreneur, will be the first speaker in this semester's Grant Thornton Speaker Series, which takes place Mondays in The EXCHANGE in BA-1. Jagdish grew up in Bombay, India, and completed his M.D degree from Bombay University in 1973 before coming to the United States in 1974. He completed his training at Yale University and affiliated hospitals. After practicing medicine in Connecticut and Indiana, he went on to pursue several entrepreneurial endeavors, including founding an adolescent psychiatric hospital, environmental remediation company, a DNA lab and development and construction companies.
