D.C. to Delhi: Charting the Course of US-India Trade Relations

What is the history of U.S.-India trade relations? How do we foresee the cooperation between these two countries? Why is this trading partnership important? What challenges does the trade relationship between India and the U.S. face?

Atman Trivedi, Senior Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Group and Non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Atlantic Council will lead the discussion. Previously, he was Senior Director for Policy in Global Markets at the U.S. Commerce Department, where he was the day-to-day policy lead on the U.S.-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue and the U.S.-India CEO Forum. Earlier, he served on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee as Chairman John Kerry’s Counsel on India and Southeast Asia. James Bacchus, Distinguished University Professor of Global Affairs and Director of the Center for Global Economic and Environmental Opportunity at UCF will moderate the discussion.
