Spring 2022 Virtual+Live Senior Design Showcase

Tuesday, April 19, 2022 9 a.m. to Friday, April 22 at 5 p.m.

Don’t miss one of UCF’s biggest, most visual, student-made engineering and technology demos: the Senior Design Showcase, with nearly 200 projects created by graduating seniors. Drones, cars, rockets, solar technology, smart systems, robotics and more will be brought to life by collaborative teams of students to demonstrate knowledge and application of engineering and computer science concepts.

Many projects are industry-sponsored. Disciplines include Computer Science; Electrical and Computer Engineering; Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering; Industrial Engineering and Management Systems and Materials Science and Engineering.

  • View projects online from Tuesday, April 19 - Wednesday, April 20
  • Meet the finalists at the in-person showcase on Friday, April 22, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at L3Harris Engineering Center
  • The awards ceremony for the best project from each discipline and the Best in Show award will be announced from 4-5 p.m.

The showcase will also feature a celebration of the partnership between L3Harris and the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science with the official unveiling of the rebranded L3Harris Engineering Center! From 3:30-4 p.m., we’ll be joined by UCF President Alexander Cartwright, UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean Michael Geogiopoulos, and L3Harris VP and CTO Ross Niebergall.

The event is free and open to all. Meet UCF’s best and brightest rising-star engineers and computer scientists ready to enter the global workforce.
