Former UCF Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Iryna Usova ’16MA has returned to Central Florida after fleeing her war-torn home country of Ukraine. UCF musicians, including faculty members Ayako Yonetani violin and George Weremchuk saxophone, students Ekaterina Iskhakova violin, Cesia Corrales viola, and Anton Wachmann cello, and alumnus Will Daniels ’18MA piano join Iryna for a night of musical performances to raise awareness and funds to help her and her family rebuild their lives. The program includes chamber music by Handel, Bach and Haydn, as well as works by two Ukrainian composers. Free entry with a suggested donation.
