UCF Literacy Symposium: Reigniting Literacy Collaborations

Join the UCF Literacy Symposium community for an exciting showcase of local education talent. This event's presentation, Collaborations with Content Area Educators: Lessons Learned About the Role of LIteracy in Science Teaching and Learning, will include the following speakers:

  • Su Gao, associate professor of secondary education, UCF School of Teacher Education;
  • Vicky Zygouris-Coe, professor of reading education, UCF School of Teacher Education; and
  • Kelsey Beeghly, Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator, Orlando Science High School.

The presenters will discuss evidence-based ways to create and sustain literacy collaborations with science teachers and resources to support science and literacy learning. 

 This event will be presented virtually via Zoom. Pre-registration is required; registrations are available at no cost.
