Ruby was the first black child to attend an all-white elementary school in the south.
Disney made a TV movie based on her experiences and a book titled "The Story of Ruby Bridges" was published in 1995 based on her story.
Her speaking engagement will give all members of the UCF community an opportunity to view the Civil Rights Movement through the eyes of a very courageous young black girl.
