Pre-Health mentorship offers an opportunity to seek one-on-one mentorship from an experienced pre-health peer. The mentorship sessions are designed to be strategic, personal, goal-oriented, and geared toward any aspect of health professional school preparation (academic and extracurricular planning, application and personal statement strategies, gap year options, letters of recommendation, etc.). Drop-ins, mentoring appointments, and application reviews with written feedback as well as an optional follow-up meeting are also available. (NOTE: The Pre-Health Mentoring sessions are not academic advising/course planning sessions, but our Pre-Health mentor has extensive training and can provide guidance based on personal experiences and knowledge of Pre-Health resources).
The mentorship sessions are led by Kylie McCarty who is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at UCF. Read more about Kylie here.
