Title: Coupled Systems of Differential Equations on Networks -- New Perspectives from Linear Algebra and Graph Theory

Abstract:
Many complex systems in science and engineering can be regarded as coupled nonlinear differential equations on networks. We provide new advances on stability problems of such systems in terms of spectral monotonicity, generalized inverse and networks structures. Applications of theoretical developments are demonstrated by ecological and epidemiological systems in heterogeneous environments, providing new insights on population and infectious disease control.
