Title: Optimal control of evolution equations

Abstract: Topic of this talk is the optimal control of evolution equations involving monotone and coercive operators. We employ the dynamic programming approach and study well-posedness of the corresponding Hamilton-Jacobi equation, whose solution characterizes the value function of the optimal control problem.
