Reaching New Heights In Education: Washington Collado - First Generation Speaker Series

A former teacher, columnist/author, radio commentator, and inspirational speaker, Washington Collado is currently the Principal at one of the top 1% rated high schools in the nation. Collado began his career in education in 1986 and since then he has devoted his life to promoting students success and impacting the community. He has written over 200 articles published in New York and Florida as a weekly columnist for El Nuevo Herald and Impacto Latin News as well as other newspapers and magazines. Collado is the author of the English and Spanish versions of Parents, Don’t Forget Your Homework (Padres, No Olviden Su Tarea). He has also participated in national televisions shows in Telemundo and Univision.
