Inspiring the Future: SMST Seminar Series | April 4th 12-1 pm EST | Mr. Siddalingesha Devarmani Shivakumar, Mr. Pratik Nichat, Dr. Armando Fandango, Mr. Gabriel Brackman| DeepRacer 101: Fastest way to get rolling with Reinforcement Learning.
Abstract:
AWS DeepRacer (https://aws.amazon.com/deepracer/) is the fastest way to get rolling with reinforcement learning (RL), literally, with a fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by reinforcement learning, 3D racing simulator, and a global racing league. Developers can train, evaluate, and tune RL models in the online simulator, deploy their models onto AWSDeepRacer for a real-world autonomous experience and compete in the AWS DeepRacer League for a chance to win the AWSDeepRacer Championship Cup.
In this presentation we introduce the engineering behind the DeepRacer followed by a quick demo on how to train the AI models and participate in online league. We present how other universities all around the world have used DeepRacerecosystem for AI/ML thought leadership and research.
