Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K

Saturday, October 29, 2016 6:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The American Cancer Society will be hosting their annual event, "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" on Saturday, October 29 at Lake Eola. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting communities with a shared determination to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer.

This event is currently in need of volunteers to assist with registration, refreshments, water stations, volunteer/checkins, or greeters/cheerers. We will be meeting at Lake Clair at 6:15am to carpool. If you'd like to meet us at the event, please arrive no later than 7am. They will be providing FREE T-SHIRTS and breakfast. You will also have the opportunity to purchase food from different stations. Please email brionna.johnson@knights.ucf.edu for the volunteer form.
