Are you interested in the Foreign Service? UCF Honors Alum Stephanie Parenti ('11) is a Foreign Service Officer currently assigned to U.S. Embassy Kabul, Afghanistan where she serves as Immigration Visa Chief. Prior to her tour in Afghanistan she served as a Consular Officer at U.S. Embassy Stockholm, Sweden, in the Public Affairs Section at U.S. Embassy Vilnius, Lithuania, and at the Desk of Poland in Washington, D.C.

Stephanie received her MA from Seton Hall University and her BA from the University of Central Florida - the place she says all her success began! In honor of her grandmother and in appreciation to UCF for giving her the tools to succeed, Stephanie funds the Kathryn Busch Foreign Affairs Scholarship open to students with internships at Foreign Affairs institutions.
