UCF Faculty Brass Quintet Recital

Dr. Jesse Cook trumpet is the Assistant Professor of Trumpet in the School of Performing Arts and the Principal Trumpet of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra. Dr. Cook has been hailed by Fanfare Magazine as a trumpeter with “technical surety, a shining tone, dynamic control, a smooth legato, and real imagination.” and by Grammy Winning artists as “a virtuoso who can do it all.” 

Dr. Ben Lieser horn is the horn professor in the School of Performing Arts. He is currently principal horn of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra (Melbourne, FL), and second horn of the Bach Festival Society Orchestra. He has performed with the Walt Disney World Orchestra, the Florida Orchestra, the Jacksonville Symphony, the Cincinnati Opera, the Orlando Philharmonic and the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Luis Fred trombone is Assistant Professor of Music in the School of Performing Arts. Dr. Fred is a member of Trombones de Costa Rica(TCR), a quartet that specializes in bringing Latin American music to international audiences. He has toured with TCR in Argentina and the United States. 

Featuring guests Dr. Ben Vasko Tuba and Mr. Thomas Macklin trumpet.
