Monday, April 16, 2012 8 a.m. to Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m.
Saving the Planet, One Computer at a Time...

Here in Technology Commons we strive to be a step ahead when it comes to being green. From our recycle stations located in every room to our energy efficient LED lighting across the building, we have truly become what UCF has deemed "Innovation at its Finest." As part of the UCF community and its Green initiatives, we wanted to push full speed ahead during Earth Week and bring opportunities to you!

Join us all week from April 16th through April 20th for Earth Week as Technology Commons aims to get its students, staff and faculty members more involved in making UCF Green.

During Earth Week, Dell and Goodwill will be invading UCF's Tech Commons to establish our very own E-Waste recycling movement!
Bring your personal e-waste (cell phones, computers, any electronics) and clothes donations to Technology Commons where receptacles will be available for you to responsibly recycle!

-Visit our facilities and drop off your dead batteries and empty printer ink/toner cartridges at our recycling station
-Don't throw out that empty water bottle, refill it at our filtration station
-Recycle like a pro and bring your paper, plastic and aluminum goods to our bins located in TC1 and TC2

Aside from these amenities, Technology Commons has partnered with Sprint to collect your old, unused cell phones. Read More
