On Monday, Dec. 4, there will be an informational session for the study abroad course Greek Science and Astronomy.
The session will take place in the Physical Sciences Building, room 160-161 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome and no advance notice is required.
Greek Science and Astronomy is an easy and exciting course, open to all UCF students, independent of major. There are no prerequisites for this course. The main part of the course consists of a trip to Greece from June 4-22 to explore the origins of science and technology. Participants will visit museums, archeological sites and other venues in Athens and the islands of Samos, Mykonos, Delos and Santorini. There are no class lectures while in Greece. Instead, participants will learn through hands-on experiences. Participants will also have free time to explore modern life and culture in Greece.
The deadline for course applications is Feb. 2, 2024, which can be submitted through the Study Abroad site here. (It opens in a new window/tab.)
